There are a variety of leadership development workshops and conferences offered throughout the year. To complete the challenge, students must attend at least four workshops. To check out the list of learn opportunities, click the button below.
Serve
Service Projects are a way for students to gain practical experience integrating leadership skills and principles, while interacting meaningfully with the community. To complete the challenge, students must participate in at least 10 hours of service learning connected to their area of study. The service should all be completed at the same location.
Connection
The third piece of the Leadership Challenge is connecting the 5 exemplary practices of leadership with involvement on campus. Students will learn about Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart. Then students can learn how to take these practices and transfer their knowledge to clubs, groups, and other leadership on campus.
Online Student Involvement Portfolio
This final piece of the Challenge helps students package their experiences and highlight their achievements. It gives students an opportunity to record all of their accomplishments from their time at Carroll, including their academic achievements, leadership experiences, campus involvement, and career readiness. Your portfolio should be a reflection of you, and will be different for each individual.
